About College:

•   JNTUH College of Engineering Jagital (JNTUHCEJ) was established in the year 1965.  

• The Institute was initially named as Nagarjuna Sagar Engineering College and under the control of the technical education department and affiliated to Osmania University.

• Later the institute is named JNTU College of Engineering with the commencement of Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University in 1972.

• The Institute is approved by AICTE (All India Council For Technical Education), New Delhi.
• The College is accredited by NBA

• Admissions will be done through two categories i.e, 

                              1. Category-A.
                              2. Category-B.

• Category-A: This contains 70% of seats from all the seats which are available. These seats are filled through Andhra Pradesh Government i.e, EAMCET.

•  Category-B: This contains 30% of seats from all the seats which are available. These seats are filled through management Quota.
